PRACTICAL BUYING GUIDE / KITRELOAD

Teamwear Size & Printing Roster Template

Use a downloadable CSV to link each garment, confirmed size, quantity, name and number. Check a teamwear roster without assuming a universal size chart.

QUICK ANSWER

Use one roster row for each garment, design, size and printing combination. Obtain the selected garment's measurements, keep youth and adult ranges separate, preserve number formatting, and reconcile the row quantities with the order total before approval. Size labels from different garments are not automatically equivalent.

1. Get measurements for the actual garment

Begin with the garment and its intended fit. Ask for the available measurements and size range for that specific product. A label such as M or L is not a universal measurement, and a jersey size should not automatically be copied onto shorts or a warm-up jacket.

Check how measurements are defined before comparing them. A flat garment width and a body circumference are different measurements. Where a fit sample or other review is needed, discuss the arrangements before the group finalizes its selections. This guide and its template are organizational tools, not a manufacturer size chart.

2. Keep each distinct combination on its own row

Assign a simple wearer reference such as Player A or Staff B. Use separate rows when that person needs a home jersey, away jersey and shorts, because the design, size or printing can differ between garments. A jersey-and-shorts set should only be counted as one unit if that is how the quote defines it.

The CSV contains illustrative entries to show the structure. Replace those entries rather than treating the example sizes or quantities as recommendations. Blank-printing items may share a row when their complete specifications match; individually printed garments need distinct assignments.

3. Check spelling and number formatting

Enter the exact printed name, including accents and capitalization, or write BLANK if no name is required. Keep player numbers as text when leading zeros matter: 07 and 7 may represent different printing instructions. When opening CSV files in a spreadsheet, check that automatic formatting has not changed the values.

Clarify the requested lettering style and placement separately in the artwork brief. A number in the roster does not by itself define the font, dimensions or location. Review duplicate numbers and repeated names with the team; they may be deliberate, but should not be silently changed.

4. Reconcile quantities before approval

Total the quantity column by garment and design, then compare those subtotals with the quotation. Check youth and adult size totals separately where they use different ranges. Do not count roster rows as pieces unless each row actually represents one piece.

Mark the working file DRAFT until sizes, printing and quantities have been reviewed. Save one clearly dated approved version and ask how any later change would affect the order. A downloaded or completed template is not an accepted order, production booking or payment request.

  • Every garment is assigned to the correct design and size range
  • Blank and individually printed items are distinguished
  • Names, accents and number formatting are checked
  • Garment subtotals match the quoted quantities
  • The agreed roster version is identified before approval

5. Share only the details needed for production

Use anonymous wearer references while planning, especially for youth teams. Do not add home addresses, birth dates or unnecessary contact details to a printing roster. Include an actual printed name only when it is needed and you have permission to supply it.

The template downloads directly; this website does not collect or upload your completed file. Review the file locally and share the necessary order details through the confirmed contact conversation. Keep the approved copy for checking the shipment against the order.

Common questions

Is this a KitReload size chart?

No. It is a planning roster. Request the measurements and size range for the actual selected garments before making size choices.

Can one person have different sizes for a jersey and shorts?

Record each requested size on its own garment row. Ask KitReload to confirm whether that combination is available for the chosen product.

Does downloading the CSV send my team details?

No. The download is a blank planning aid with illustrative entries. Completed files are not uploaded or submitted by this website.
